Markéta Davidová is also in the Czech roster for NMNM

Markéta Davidová has been struggling with a herniated disc since December, which forced her to interrupt the season. She opted for conservative treatment and was able to resume training two weeks ago. Over the weekend, she successfully completed her first test by competing in regional races in Poland.

"It's too early to say that I'm back. I joined the team in Nové Město na Moravě and continue my rehabilitation and training here. If my health allows, I would like to start in the sprint on Friday. I don't want to make any promises right now. It’s evolving day by day, and we will decide just before the race. But if there's even a slight chance, I would love to compete in front of the home fans," says Markéta Davidová.

Another young biathlete, currently competing at the Youth and Junior World Championships in Östersund, is expected to join the relay team.
